The Han Room occupies Lots G243, G246, and G247 on the ground floor of The Gardens Mall at Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur. It is a Cantonese restaurant under the Oriental Group, which also operates The Ming Room in Bangsar and several other Chinese dining outlets across the Klang Valley. The Han Room serves non-halal cuisine, with pork on the menu.
The restaurant is best known for its dim sum service, which runs on weekends from 10:30 am and weekdays from 11 am. Dim sum staples include har gao, siu mai, char siew bao, cheong fun, and wu gok (taro dumplings). The a la carte menu, available on Sundays and public holidays, covers garoupa head, mutton bak kut teh, and BBQ baby duck. Main courses and set dinners range from RM 100 to RM 200 per person, positioning it at the higher end of Chinese dining in Mid Valley.
Opening hours are Monday to Friday 11 am to 11 pm, and Saturday to Sunday 10:30 am to 11 pm. The restaurant accepts reservations via its website at orientalrestaurants.com.my. Service can be stretched during peak dim sum periods on weekends.
